Members of The Armed Police Battalion detained six Rohingya criminals from several camps in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar. APBN members are continuing its operation to arrest criminals in 34 Rohingya camps in the area.
The criminals were arrested in a raid on Friday morning, officials said.
NaimulHaque, commander of the 14th Armed Police Battalionsaid they were continuing their operation to arrest criminals involved in various crimes in the camp area. Abdul Mannan, Enayetullah from Madhuchhara camp, Taher from Iranian Mountain Camp, Nazim Uddin from Lambasia camp, Nur Bashar, Usman from Kutupalong camp were arrested during the raid.
Naimul Haque, said the detainees were involved in various crimes including extortion, kidnapping, robbery preparation case and murder in the Rohingya camp area.
