6 people were killed when a passenger bus hit a three-wheeler 'Alamsadhu' on Chuadanga-Jhenaidah road at Sarojganj Bazar area of Sadarin in Chuadanga upazila today.
Police said the accident occurred at 8am when a Chuadanga-bound bus of Royal Paribahan from Dhaka dashed a Alamasadhu, a Nasimon and one bicycle from behind, killing its 6 passengers, dead on the spot, leaving other 4 seriously injured.
Chuadanga Fire Service Deputy Director Abdus Salam confirmed the information and said the names of the deceased were not immediately known.
Chuadanga Sadar Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Jihad said the dead and injured were all passengers of Alamsadhu and Nasimon. They are all day laborers.
