State Minister for Social Welfare, Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru MP, has provided Taka 54 lakh to some 54 patients in Netrokona for their better treatment.
The financial aid was given to the patients of cancer, kidney, liver cirrhosis, paralysis, heart disease and thalassemia in the Sadar upazila on Sunday.
The programme was organised by Netrakona Sadar Upazila Parishad and Upazila Social Service Office at the hall room of the Upazila Parishad. State Minister for Social Welfare, Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, handed over the cheques to the patients at the programme. At the programme, he said, “Everyone in the country will be benefitted under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”
“The social services have reached to the doorsteps of the people due to the direction of the Prime Minister,” he added.
Netrakona Sadar Upazila Chairman Tafsir Uddin Khan, Deputy Director of Social Service Office Alal Uddin, vice-chairmen of the upazila, Freedom Fighters of the area and others were present at the programme.
