Total 52 thousand 285 candidates have applied in total 1391 seats for admission in Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) in session 2020-21 of honors 1st year. For admission, 37 candidates have applied for per seat.
On 17 December, this information was notified from university sources. The admission deadline was finished in 15 December which was started from 24 November. According to the university sources, 9 thousand 619 candidates applied in A group, 10 thousand 314 candidates applied in B group,11 thousand 316 candidates applied in C group,12 thousand 91 candidates applied in D group,5 thousand 506 candidates applied in E group and 3 thousand 739 candidates applied in F group.
According to the university's admissions website, a total of 1391 seats available for admission in 6 groups. The application fee for each group has been fixed 600Tk. Merit list will be created on 150 numbers where 100 number will be added from GST admission and 50 numbers will be added from GPA of SSC and HSC.
Among total 1391 seats, Group A total 315 seats, Group B has 175 seats, Group C has 245 seats, Group D has 377 seats, Group E has 165 seats and Group F has 114 seats.Candidates of ‘A’ unit can apply for A, B, C and D groups. Candidates of ‘B’ unit can apply for D and E groups. Candidates in 'C' unit can apply for the D and F groups.
