Aftab Uddin Foundation, avoluntary organisation, arranged a free medical camp at Piragati village under Shailkupa upazila in Jhenaidah on Friday. They had provided free medical treatment to over 500 poor patients there.
Chairman of the foundation Asaduzzaman said out of the total patients, selected 130 will be referred to Bangladesh National Society for the Blind (BNSB) at Shoromoni of Khulna where they will go under cataract surgery by the experts. All of them will be provided free medicare treatment and spectacles.
