By being inspired in the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, 50 leaders and activists of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) joined the Awami League in Chapainawabganj.
Under the leadership of former General Secretary of JSD’s Chapainawabganj district unit Habibur Rahman Habib, the 50 JSD men joined the AL through a function at AL office in the district town on Sunday.
Moinuddin Mondol and Abdul Wadud, President and General Secretary of Chapanawabganj district AL, congratulated the newly joined leaders and activists with floral garlands.
Among others, the party-joining function was attended by, General Secretary of Sadar Upazila AL Advocate Nazrul Islam, President of Municipal AL Shariful Islam, General Secretary Advocate Mijanur Rahman and Vice-President Mokhlesur Rahman.
