Five members of a family including a two and a half year aged child of Thakurgaon have been admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RnMCH) on Saturday evening with the symptom of Coronavirus.
Dr Rakibul Alam, Resident Surgeon of Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital informed, a person of village Bhelajan under Chilrang union of Thakuragaon arrived at his village home with fever and breathing problem on Friday night.
His fever increased after arriving at the house. At the same time, he was suffering from breathing problems and diarrhoea. Soon, the same symptom was seen to develop to his wife and the minor child, Local health department official informed, the person had attended a picnic in Dhaka recently and afterwards he was suffering from fever.
By being informed by the local people, health department officials took the person, his wife, child and two more members of the family to Thakurgaon Adhunik Hospital and in accordance with the direction from the IEDCR they have been admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for improved treatment.
He further said, the person the condition of the person who returned from Dhaka is serious while his wife and child were suffering from fever and cough.
