Detectives arrested five suspected members of a robber gang from Mohammadpur area in the city on Saturday night. The arrestees are Md Nasir Sarder, 22, Md Kamal Madbar, 23, Md Shaheed Bepari, 35, Md Monirul Islam, 18, and Md Mahbub Mia, 30. The detectives also recovered three knives and two sharp weapons from their possession. A case was filed with Mohammadpur police in this connection.
