46th BCS written exam to start on Aug 28

The 46th BCS written exam will begin on August 28 and end on September 9, according to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC). This announcement was made in a notice signed by PSC Controller of Examination Abdullah Al Mamun on July 4.

The written exams will take place on scheduled days from 10 am. Tests will cover mandatory and job-related subjects. A special mental aptitude test will start at 12:30 pm. The exams will be held in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Mymensingh.

The notice also mentioned that important information about exam halls and seating arrangements will be available on the PSC website.

Previously, the PSC announced that 3,140 positions would be filled through this BCS exam. Over 337,000 candidates applied for these positions. The preliminary exam was held on April 26, and 10,638 candidates passed. Qualified candidates can now participate in the written exam.
