425 mothers to get health aid at Ulipur

The inauguration of a health camp programme was held at Ulipur in Kurigram at 11 am on Tuesday in the hall of Upazila Parishad. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bipul Kumar presided over the discussion meeting held marking the camp organized by the Upazila Women's Affairs Office. 

Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Golam Hossain Montu spoke as the chief guest. Among others Md. Hasan Mohaimenur Sun, Dr. Tanjirul Islam, Dr. Moumita Saha, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Shahana Akter spoke on the occasion.

Under the Lactating Mother Assis­tance Fund Programme 425 members will be getting Tk 800 allowance per month for a period of 3 years.  Under this program free health services and materials will also be provided through 3 doctors in collaboration with the Department of Health.
