Four patients with symptoms of coronavirus have been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The patients are being treated at the Corona ward of Infectious Disease Hospital of RMCH. Samples from the bodies of those patients will be collected and tested for Corona, informed Dr. Azizul Haqwue Azad, Head of Corona Detection and Treatment team at RMCH.
During the routine briefing, Dr. Azad informed, though all four patients are suffering from fever and suffocation, their physical condition is stable. After testing samples from their bodies, it will be confirmed whether they are suffering from Corona.
Meanwhile, Dr. Azad further said, so far five patients suffering from Corona have been detected in Rajshahi and the condition of all of them is well. All of those five patients contacted Coronavirus from outside districts of Rajshahi, three of them from Narayanganj and one each from Dhaka and Gazipur district.
Civil Surgeon of Rajshahi Dr. Enamul Haque informed, 17 more persons have been taken to quarantine in the district during last 24-hours. All of them came to Rajshahi from other districts.
