Some 39,106 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Monday raising the total of first dose recipients to 47,87,915 in all eight districts of Rangpur division.
"Among 39,106 new first dose recipients, 17,338 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 20,520 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 1,248 with Pfizer Covid-19 jab today," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Motaharul Islam said on Monday.
The total first dose recipient 47,87,9158 citizens include 14,77,687 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 31,71,330 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jab and 7,049 with Pfizer Covid-19 jab.

Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 29,83,334 with inoculation of more 33,900 people with the second dose of the jab today in the division.
Among the 33,900 new second dose recipient citizens, 247 people were inoculated with Moderna Covid-19 jab, 13,896 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 19,757 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine in the division today.
"The second dose recipient 29,83,334 citizens include 5,80,514 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 22,78,613 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,24,206 with Moderna Covid-19 jab and one with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine," Dr Islam added.
