The four-day National Vitamin-A Plus campaign-2022 is going to be held from 12 to 15 June across the country.
In this year's Vitamin A Plus Campaign, a total of 3,67,515 children age to 6 to 59 months will be fed Vitamin A Plus Capsules in ten upazilas and two municipalities, 86 unions 258 wards of Netrokona district.
This was information was given at a press conference room of Netrokona District Civil Surgeon office on Saturday at 12.00 noon.
Netrokona District Civil Surgeon Dr M Salim Miah said that all kinds of preparation have been made on the occasion of Vitamin-A PLUS Campaign-2022.
The Campaign will be held in Netrokona district for a four days simultaneously with the rest of the country. According to the Netrokona District Civil Surgeon office, this year 39,125 children age 6 to 11 months in 258 wards of 86 unions in ten upazilas and two municipals of Netrakona district will be given Blue Vitamin-'A' Plus capsules.
Besides, 3,28,390 children age 12 to 59 months will be given Vitamin-'A' Plus Capsules in the district this time.
A total of 3,67,515 Children have been targeted to be fed Vitamin -'A' Plus capsules.
The press conference and orientation meeting was chaired by Civil Surgeon, Netrokona Dr. Salim Miah while Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Avijit Loh along with other officials of Health department were present at the conference.
Press Club Secretary M Muklesur Rahman khan, former vice-president of Netrakona press club Advocate Abdul Hannan Ranjan along with Journalist's of Print and electronic media were present on the occasion.
