Director Rezaur Rahman's film "36-24-36" was set to release on the OTT platform Chorki in July, but the launch was postponed due to the Anti-discrimination Students Movement. In a new strategy to support the film industry, Chorki has decided to release the film in theaters.

On October 15, Chorki submitted "36-24-36" to the Film Certification Board, marking the first step towards its theatrical release. Chorki's CEO, Redoan Rony, stated that the goal is to attract audiences back to cinemas. The film is a romantic comedy with dramatic elements. Rony mentioned, "When no one was thinking of releasing content after the political changes, Chorki boldly launched a web film. Now, our plan is even bigger."

Rony also emphasized that although "36-24-36" was previously labeled a web film, it is a full-length feature that meets all the standards for a theatrical release. He believes the audience will appreciate the film once they see it.

Director Rezaur Rahman expressed his excitement about having his film shown on the big screen for the first time. He aimed to create a colorful and grand film, filled with humor in both the dialogues and events. He hopes viewers will find meaningful messages in it. He compared "36-24-36" to the earlier Chorki release "Internsheep," saying, "I believe they will enjoy this film in a different context."

The film stars Kaarina Kaisar as Saira, a successful wedding planner, Sayed Zaman Shawon as the groom Tahsir, and Prarthana Fardin Dighi as Priyonti. Other cast members include Golam Kibria Tanvir, Mili Basher, Shahidul Alam Sachchu, and Rosey Siddique. The release date will be announced after the film receives its grading certificate.
