The 34th death anniversary of pioneer industrialist Seraj Uddin Ahmed, founder Chair-man of Elite Group of Industries, today (May 1).
He was also founder director of Arab Bangladesh Bank Ltd, former president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries and former chairman of Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh (TTAB).
On the occasion of his death anniversary, a milad mahfil followed by Ziafat will be held at his Gulshan residence in the capital. Similar program will be also held in Chattgram on behalf of Octagon Fibers & Chemicals Limited, a unit of Elite Group.
Md. Salah Uddin, General Manager of Elite Group of Industries, confirmed the matter.
