After reevaluating the answer sheets of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, the Dhaka Education Board announced that the results of 2,723 students have changed.
The reevaluation results were released on Tuesday. Among the students who applied for a reevaluation, 127 who initially failed have now passed. Additionally, 344 students have newly obtained a GPA-5, the highest grade point average.
A total of 70,129 students from the Dhaka Board applied for reevaluation of their SSC results. This year, around 83.04 percent of students passed the SSC and its equivalent examinations.
In total, 20,24,192 students from 11 education boards, including nine general boards, one madrasa board, and one technical board, participated in the SSC exams.
The SSC exams are a crucial milestone for students in Bangladesh, as they determine their eligibility for higher education. The reevaluation process offers students a second chance to ensure their answer sheets were graded correctly.
