The 31st International Trade Fair (CITF) is set to start on Thursday at the Railway Polo Grounds in Tigerpass of Chittagong city. At the same time the 3-day IT fair will be held on February 17-19 at the World Trade Center in Chittagong.
Chamber president Omar Hazzaz presented the details of the Chittagong trade fair in a press conference at the Bangabandhu Conference Hall of the World Trade Center in Agrabad on Monday.
The 5th Chittagong IT Fair will be held on February 17-19 at the World Trade Center. Entry of visitors to the fair is free. About 60 stalls including local and foreign institutions will participate in it State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak will be present as the chief guest at the inauguration of the IT Fair
Chamber President Omar Hazzaz said that many playgrounds have become occupied. The chamber has been demanding every year for the construction of an international standard expo center. There are proposals to set up expo centers at several places including Jungle Salimpur.
It is very important. After the fair, I cleaned the playground and returned it as I found it.
CITF Chairman AKM Akhtar Hossain said that Education Minister Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony of CITF on February 15 in the afternoon. State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu will inaugurate the fair. MA Latif, Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Shipping Ministry will be the special guest. FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam will be the guest of honour.
CITF Co-Chairman Ahid Siraj Chowdhury Swapan, Anjan Shekhar Das, Zahirul Islam Chowdhury Alamgir, PHP Director Aktar Parvez Hiru, Society of Chittagong IT Professionals Abdullah Farid and others were present in the press conference.
