3000 meters illegal gas lines severed in Gazipur

State-owned Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited, Gazipur regional office, has disconnected over 3000 meters of illegal gas lines of different residential houses at Gachha Purba Para area of the city recently. 

Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company, Gazipur regional office Engineer Ershad Mahmud said that Titas gas authorities with the help of Gazipur district administration disconnected the lines after a raid in the area from morning till evening. The authorities have disconnected the illegal gas lines from 350 houses and also seized other materials used for connecting the illegal lines.

Manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company, Gazipur regional office Engineer Ershad Mahmud, deputy manager Engineer Abu Sufian and Mosharaf Hossain, sub-assistant engineer Sabinur Rahman and Shakhawat Hossain, Anowar Hossain and Kaisar Ahmed, were present during the operation.
