Three persons, including a woman and her daughter, were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Nabinagar on Sunday morning. The deceased were identified as rickshaw driver Jewel Rana, 25, son of Abdul Aziz of Tangail, Maleka Banu, 22, daughter of Aroz Ali Mollah of Narail and her 3-year-old daughter Fatima. The incident took place in front of the National martyr’s monument.
on Dhaka-aricha highway around 7:00 am on Sunday morning. A Dhaka bound speedy passenger loaded bus hit the auto-rickshaw when the woman along with her child was going to Nabinagar Bus counter, and leave them all died on the spot. Later, Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
Nurul Huda, Sub-inspector of Ashulia Police Station said, “On information, we rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. Also, we seized the Bus.” Preparation to take legal action in this regards is underway, SI added.
