Police arrested three drug dealers with yaba at Srirampur area in Brahmanbaria's Nabinagar.
The arrested are Babul Mia, 40, son of late Bande Ali Mia of Srirampur (New Srirampur) village of the upazila, Anwar, 28, son of late Makhan Mia of Srirampur (Panchani) village and Mohammad Farooq Mia, 30, son of Mohammad Suruj Mia of the same village.
Nabinagar Police Station SI Mohammad Monirul Islam said the three were arrested along with 18 yaba tablets while conducting a drug rescue operation.
Nabinagar OC Ranojit Roy confirmed the incident and said that regular cases have been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Act and they have been handed over to court.
