Three-day national Nazrul conference is going to start at Jhenidah Shilpakala Academy on Saturday. District administration with the initiatives of Kabi Nazrul Institute under the ministry of cultural affairs will organize the programme. Deputy Commissioner (D C) Saroj Kumar Nath in a press conference at his conference room o Thursday morning disclosed it. Deputy Commissioner said collection of the lyric of Nazrul’s uncommon song with it’s notation, preservation, publicity and encouragement of the new generation was main objectives f the conference. Lawmaker of Jhenidah-Magura reserved seat Khaleda Khanam will inaugurate the day as chief guest. Various colourful events and discussion meeting will be held.
Additional deputy commissioner (ADC general) Arif Uz Zaman, ADC education and ICT) Rabiul Islam and Jhenidah press club president M Raihan among others spoke.
