Bogura District Detective Branch (DB) of Police have arrested three people along with a gun and yaba in separate raid in the early hours of Saturday. The arrestees are Arif Hossain alias Arif, 20, son of A Malek of Moddhopara, Omar Farooq, 29, son of Nazrul Islam of Chok Lokman Colony and Moniruzzaman alias Monjur Rahman, 45, son of late. Mahmood Ali of Malgram Moddhopara area.
Arif Hossain alias Arif, 20, was arrested with the local made gun from in front of Al Amin Market on the Nababbari road of the town. Omar Farooq and Moniruzzaman alias Monjur Rahman were arrested from Station road under Bogura Sadar upazila along with 200 pieces of yaba. Bogra District DB Officer-in-Charge (OC) Aslam Ali confirmed the matter. He said separate cases were filed against the arrestees with Bogura Sadar Police Station.
