In the Islamic University (IU) admission examination 3,05,346 applicants will take part in the undergraduate class of 2023-24 academic year in the 24 universities included in the cluster. The examination will be held in a total of six buildings of the university.
ICT cell of the university revealed the information on Monday April 22.This year 6,442 applicants will compete in 'A' unit, 7,246 applicants in 'B' unit and 1,414 applicants in 'C' unit. 3,05,346 applicants will participate in the admission test across the country. The halls of IU are - Atomic Scientist Wazed Mia Bhaban, Applied Science and Technology Bhaban, Faculty Bhaban, Rabindra-Nazrul Kala Bhaban, Business Administration Bhaban and Mir Musharraf Hossain Academic Bhaban.
University's regular classes, IIER and evening courses will be closed for 10 days due to admission examination. Class, examinations will be closed from April 24 to April 27 for 'A' unit, May 1 to May 3 for 'B' unit, and May 9 to May 11 for the 'C' and Islamic university 'D' unit entrance exams. Only the pre-announced exams on May 24 will continue.
IU centers have been decided in 22 universities out of 24 universities in the cluster this year. The examination of 'A' unit under science group will be held on April 27, the examination of 'B' unit under humanities group will be held on May 3 and the examination of 'C' unit under business education group will be held on May 10. Meanwhile, the independent examination of the 'D' unit of the university was held on May 11.
