Samsung Bangladesh successfully conducted the 2nd session of Junior Software Academy at SRBD (Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh). The 2nd session ended last Friday. Students received IT training on various technological topics such as Coding, Programming, including basic education for computer hardware & internet, and many more. They also learned about the history of Samsung, received basic Samsung product knowledge and learned about Android open source system. Students also learned to implement their knowledge by using basic coding tools to develop software. They received certificates upon the completion of the course.
Samsung Bangladesh collaborated with two recognized NGOs- EduCo and SOS, and through them 30 underprivileged high school students from grade 6 – 10 participated in the 2nd session of Junior Software Academy. Classes were held every Friday at SRBD. Notably SRBD houses approximately 400 Samsung R&D engineers.
