The second phase of applications for Class XI admissions has begun yesterday. Students who were not selected in the first phase can now apply again. Students who passed the SSC exam in 2024 from Bangladesh Open University can also apply.
Applicants can choose between 5 to 10 colleges or equivalent institutions in order of preference. Admission will be based on the student's merit, any applicable quotas, and their preferences.
The online admission process is managed centrally with the technical support of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) under the Dhaka Education Board. There will be no selection test for Class XI admission this year; students will be admitted based on their SSC and equivalent results. The first phase of applications started on May 26 and ended on June 13.
The second phase will accept applications from June 30 to July 2. The results for this phase will be announced on July 4. The third phase will open for applications on July 9 and close on July 10.
The results of the second migration will be declared on July 12, and the results of the third phase application will also be announced on the same day. The final admissions will take place from July 15 to July 25.
This year, the SSC and equivalent exam results were released last month. Out of 20,13,597 candidates, 16,72,153 passed. Despite this, many colleges will still have vacant seats due to the large number of available spots.
