A total of 28 returnees are in home quarantine to prevention coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital. Dr. Sayemul Huda, Health and family planning officer of Savar confirmed the matter to The Bangladesh Post on Thursday.
The official said, “A total of 28 people, who come from abroad recently are in home quarantine and all are in close observation.” “They all are healthy and no one of them has fever or any other symptom. Nevertheless, we asked them to stay in home quarantine to prevent coronavirus infection. Also, one health worker for each one performing their duties to constantly monitored them.”
AFM Sayeed, Officer-in-charge of Savar model police station told The Bangladesh Post, “A total of 28 returnees are in home quarantine from March 14 to till now in Savar and all are in observation. Police, Health department and Administration are jointly monitoring them.”
