Bangladesh reported zero death and 26 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours till 8am Tuesday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The positivity rate was recorded at 0.61 percent after testing 4,250 samples across the country.
The country reported one death and 34 new Covid cases on the previous day.
The official tally showed that 29,131 people have died and 1,953,507 tested coronavirus positive so far in Bangladesh.
The recovery count rose to 1,902,760 after another 169 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day.
From the beginning of the pandemic, 97.40 percent Covid-19 patients recovered among the infected people while 1.49 percent died, the DGHS statistics showed.
