A mobile court by Pakshi railway department has fined 250 passengers for travelling without tickets among the eight inter-city train on Saturday.
Security members of Pakshi railway department detained the passengers of Ishwardi-Dhaka route by block checking from 10.00 am to 8.00pm on Saturday. Tk49, 010 was fined from these passengers.
A team led by Divisional Commercial Officer (DCO), Anwar Hossain has conducted the drive.
At that time, traffic inspector of Pakshi Railway division, Sajedul Islam Babu, mobile ticket inspector, traffic inspector Sazedul Islam Babu, travelling ticket examiner (TTE) Abdul Alim Bishwash Mithu, Barkat Ullah Al-Amin, Yasir Arafat, Kamrul Islam, Imtiaj Hossain along with other staff were also present.
Anwar Hossain told to Bangladesh Post, 250 passengers of Rajshai-Dhaka intercity Silkcity, Dhaka-Chilahati Nilsagar, Dhaka-Panchagar Panchagar Express, Panchagar-Dhaka Drutujan, Dhaka-Khulna Chitra, Lalmonirhat-Dhaka Lalmoni Express train didn't carry tickets. As a result, 250 passengers were fined on that day.
