At least 25 people were fined Tk 1,500 at Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria for walking around without masks.
A mobile court was conducted under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Brahmanbaria and under the overall supervision of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Nabinagar to raise public awareness to prevent the second wave of corona virus infection in Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria on Friday.
The mobile court was conducted by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iqbal Hasan. During this time, mask less pedestrians were made aware of wearing masks and free masks were distributed among pedestrians.
Besides, according to the Infectious Diseases (Prevention, Control and Eradication) Act, 2018, in 1 case, 25 people were fined Tk1,500 for walking around without masks.
