Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) has inaugurated the 23rd foundation training workshop aimed at enhancing the knowledge and professional skills of public university officials. A total of 25 officials from 17 public universities in the country are participating in this 25-day training course, which will conclude on February 14.
Funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Graduate Training Institute (GTI) organized the event on January 21 at 11 am in the training room of GTI. Professor Dr Masuma Habib and Professor Dr Md Mojammel Haque will serve as course co-ordinators in this workshop.
Professor Dr Bentul Mawa, the Director of GTI, presided over the event and Professor Dr Emadadul Haque Chowdhury, the Vice-Chancellor of BAU, attended as the chief guest. Professor Dr Md Harun-ur-Rashid, the Adviser on Student Affairs, and Kbd Md Waliullah, the Register of BAU were special guests at the event.
Addressing the participants, Dr. Emadadul Haque Chowdhury stated that the goal of every university is to produce skilled graduates. Universities are formed by students, teachers, and staff, all working together. The objective is to create a skilled nation by producing skilled graduates.
To achieve this goal, skilled teachers and staff are essential. Through training, enhance your skills and contribute to the formation of a skilled nation. He emphasized the importance of balancing personal health, family, and the workplace to achieve specific goals.
