Inauguration session of three days long 22nd International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT) 2019 hosted by Southeast University (SEU) was held on Wednesday at Southeast University (SEU) permanent campus, Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Professor Dr Mohammad A Karim, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, USA chaired the session while Dr Md Murad Hassan, state minister, Ministry of Information was the chief guest. Professor Dr Md Sazzad Hossain, member of UGC; Professor Dr Muhammad H Rashid, Florida Polytechnic University, USA and Professor Dr Celia Shahnaz, chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section were the special guests.
Professor Dr AFM Mafizul Islam, vice chancellor of SEU delivered the welcome speech. Professor Dr Mohammad S Alam, Texas A&M University, Kingsville also addressed the programme. 13 prominent Researchers from USA and Japan attended the conference as speakers. Professor Dr Engineer Muhibul Haque Bhuyan, chairman of EEE department of SEU delivered the vote of thanks at the end. Among others, Adviser of BoT, Registrar, Deans, Chairmen, Directors, faculty members and officials of SEU attended the programme.
