As a precautionary measure to treat possible patients attacked by Coronavirus, 200 beds were reserved at Jashore General Hospital. Meanwhile, according to Ministry directives 200 beds in district level, 100 beds in upazila level, 10 cabins and 40 beds have been kept reserved under Corona prevention programme, informed superintendent of Jashore General Hospital Dr Dilip Kumar Roy. He also said, if the situation deteriorates, we would shift patients to Upazila Staff Quarter or nearest schools.
If anyone returns from abroad by different organizations, we've to identify them. They will be quarantined for 14 days. Deputy Commissioner Md Shafiul Arif presided over the programme at the conference room of Collectorate while Police Super Ashraf Hossain, Additional Police Super Golam Rabbani, Superintendent of 250-bed Jashore General Hospital Dr Dilip Kumar Roy, acting Civil Surgeon Protiva Ghorai, Additional District Magistrate Abul Lych were also present.
