In quarry, officer in charge of Narayanganj Sadar Model police station Asaduzzaman told the Bangladesh Post that all the arrestees confessed to violating and killing the girl.

been done by the arrestees,

he added.

However, relatives of arrested Abdulla, Rakib, and Khalil claimed that police extracted the arrestee's confessions through heavy physical torture and extorted bribes from them in the name of release too.
