The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 in a drive arrested two activists of banned Jummatul Mujaheedin of Bangladesh from Paikpara area in the town at early hours on Tuesday.
Arrestees are identified as Anisur Rahman alias Azad alias Saif Al Azad alias Abu omor, 29, and Moulana mufti Atikulllah alias Abu Ismail alias Manjoom atik, 25.
RAB claimed in a press briefing, that they captured 125 militants last year and brought under legal procedure.
Huge amount of militant books and two laptops were recovered from the possession of the arrestees.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of RAB-11 in a press brief claimed that the arrested men are involved in JMB activities.A criminal case was recorded in this regard.
