Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) detained two infamous robbers along with arms from Ramcharan Bazar area under Hatia upazila in Noakhali on Thursday night.
The detainees were identified as Nazim Mollah, 46, head of robber-gang ‘Nazim Mollah Bahini’, and Md Selim, 44, an active member of the gang. On secret information, members of South Zone of Coast Guard carried out a special raid at Ramcharan Bazar area. At the time, the two robbers were detained with an illegal firearm. The robbers and the weapons were handed over to Hatia Police Station.
