Two persons, including a schoolboy, were electrocuted to death at Konapara of Demra in the capital on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Mofazzal Hossen Riab, 13, son of Md Didar Hossain of Bonga village of Mehendigonj upazila of Barishal and a class six student of a local school; and Shamim, 23, son of Md. Ali Bepari Tolarchar village of Mehendigonj upazila of Barishal.
Mofazzal Hossen Riab was declared dead at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at about 12:00 pm after he received an electric shock from a two-storey building at Konapara of Demra.
The worker Shamim got electrocuted while he was working at a plastic factory at Shahid Nagar area of Lalbagh in the capital.
