Members of Jibannagar police station arrested two drug dealers with 90 bottles of Indian Phensidyl conducting a raid at Manoharpur village under Jibannagar Upazila of Chuadanga on Thursday midnight.
The arrestees were identified as Abdul Ghazi, 30, son of Sirajul Ghazi of Ghazipara under Manoharpur village and Shamim Hossain, 35, son of Abdul Malek of the same neighborhood.
Jibannagar Police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saiful Islam said Sub-Inspector (SI) Tyfuzzaman along with other police members conducted an anti-drug drive in front of Abdul Quddus' grocery shop in Manoharpur village.
During the raid, they arrested identified drug dealers of the area Abdul Gazi and Shamim Hossain. At the time, they seized 90 bottles of Indian Phensidyl found in their possession.
A case has been filed under the Narcotics Act with Jibannagar police station in this regard.
