Police of Sarail Thana arrested two drug dealers along with 14 kg of ganja from Dhaka Sylhet highway near Sarail Upazila on Saturday . Meanwhile, a CNG used for drug has been seized.
The arrested persons are ¬ named Md. Rubel Mia (30) and Md. Badsha Mia (26).
Sarail police station SI Md. Farooq Hossain, ASI Rubel Akhan Sangeet along with their force arrested the criminals with ganja from the south side of Newaz store in Bariura area of Noagaon union of Sarail upazila. A CNG used for drug trading was also seized.
The arrested are Rubel Mia, son of deceased Tauhid Mia of Debnagar Murabari Ward No. 2 of Dharmaghar Union of Madhavpur Upazila and Badsha Mia, son of Shafiqul Islam of Ramshankarpur (Mor Dakshinpara Ward No-12 of Madhavpur Upazila).
Sarail police station Officer-in-Charge Emranul Islam confirmed the matter and said that a case has been filed against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act at the police station and they will be sent to jail through the court.
