With 10 more deaths from Rajshahi, a total of 19 patients died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital during the last 24-hour period ending 8-00 am Tuesday. Earlier on Monday 18 more Corona patients died at the hospital.
Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani, Director of RMCH informed, of the total dead during the last 24-hour, 10 are from Rajshahi, two each from Naogaon and Natore and one each from Chapainawabganj, Pabna, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Joypourhat districts.
With today's deaths, a total of 101 patients died at the Corona unit of the hospital during the last six-day of the month. In last June a total of 405 Corona patients died at the RMCH.
Director Yazdani further informed a total of 76 patients were admitted at the Corona unit of the hospital during the last 24-hour. Till 8-00 am Tuesday, a total of 489 admitted patients were undergoing treatment at the Corona unit as against 454 regular beds.
