In Mirzaganj upazila of Patuakhali, the posts of headmaster, superintendent and principal of 17 schools, colleges and madrasas have been vacant for a long time. Authorities said that it was not possible to appoint headmasters, assistant headmasters, third and fourth class employees as the schools did not have working managing committees for a long time.
As a result, teaching including office worksare being disrupted in all these institutions. There is mismanagement in the institutions as there is no head teacher.
