Sixty more patients by being infected with COVID-19 virus were tested positive in Cox's bazaar district during last 24-hour. Of those 13 are in Cox's Bazaar and four in Bandarban district. With these newly infected persons, total covid-19 patients in the district stood at 36, informed Professor Dr. Anupama Barua, Principal of Cox's Bazaar Medical College.
Dr. Barua further informed, on Sunday samples from the bodies of suspected 123 patients were collected and after testing, virus of Covid-19 was detected among 17 on Wednesday noon. He said, total samples of 1,250 suspected Covid-19 patients were collected and tested at the Corona testing Laboratory of Cox's Bazaar Medical College during last 29-day.
