Shariatpur Sadar Upazila Nibarhi Officer Mahbubur Rahman Sheikh leading a mobile court fined 17 people Tk 4,200 for disobeying government directed hygiene rules including walking around without wearing a mask in Shariatpur town on Saturday.
To prevent Covid-19 the mobile court drive was conducted at different places of the municipality including Palang Bazar, Manohar Bazar, Chitlia Union and Chowrangi and people were fined for disobeying the rules of hygiene declared by the government.
A total of Tk 4 thousand two hundred fine was imposed on 17 people for disobeying government orders including walking outside without wearing mask.
Many were warned at this time and instructed to follow the hygiene rules. Shops and shopping malls were instructed to close by 4.00 pm and awareness was raised to maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet.
Palang Model Police Station cooperated during the drive. This campaign will continue every day.
