The border Guard Bangladesh personnel in Moheshpur frontier of Jhenaidah have arrested 17 BD nationals detained from Moheshpur while returning from India illegally. The border guards have detained them from Kanaidanga bordering area under Jadabpur border outpost (BOP) on Monday morning. Of the arrested eight was women and three was children. But no mastermind of the team was arrested so far.
BGB 58 battalion assistant director Nazrul Islam Khan said the arrested could not produced any documents about their travel in India and coming back through the bordering area.

The arrested were identified as Rabindra Nath Chowdhury, 55, his wife Ranju Chowdhury (45), Chameli Begum (45), Jahangir Mollah (24), Sariful Islam (17), Champa Begum (40) Aratan Begum (60), Rubel Hossain (27), his wife Champa Begum (26), Sumaiya Khatun (17), Ayub Farazi (50), Rubel Rana (25), Ratna Khatun (35), Kakali Biswas (30) and her daughter Nandani Biswas (8).
The BGB official said they had handed over the arrested to Moheshpur police station after filing a case under passport act. Moheshpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) had admitted the case.
