16 returnees Bangladeshi are in home quarantine. Thakurgaon Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed it. They came from various countries.
He also said that many people are returning from abroad and day by day this coronavirus is being spread and many people are dying of it. People from this district went to many different countries to study or for jobs. However, due to emergency situation these people are coming back. So far, about 16 people came back. Even if they are not affected by the virus yet as precautionary measures, people who came back last week were instructed to be in home quarantine From the day they came back they have to be in home quarantine for 14 days.
If anyone violates this rule they will be brought to justice. Alongside they are keeping records of these returnees all the time.
It has been said that 2 from Italy, 1 from Jordan, 1 from South Korea, 1 from United Arab Emirates, 2 from Singapore, 3 from India, 3 from Malaysia, 1 from Saudi Arab and 1 from Roman Bangladesh citizens have returned so far.
