Results of the admission test for the 1st year undergraduate program 2023–24 session of the Arts, Law and Social Sciences unit, Science unit, Business Studies unit, and Fine Arts unit of Dhaka University were published on Thursday.
On average, around 11pc students passed the tests, specifically its 10.07pc for Arts, Law and Social Sciences unit, 8.89pc for Science unit, 13.33pc for Business Studies unit, and 11.75pc for Fine Arts unit.
This year, in the Arts, Law and Social Science unit, 1,02,000 students took part in the admission test against 2934 seats. Only 10,275 students passed the test in this unit.
Prionty Mondal from Khulna’s Govt. M. M. City College came first in this unit securing a total score of 105.25 out of 120.
A total of 1,09,363 students took part in the Science unit admission test of the university of which 9,723 students passed the test against the 1851 available seats.

in this unit test obtaining 111.25 score out of 120.
In the Business Studies unit, 34,367 students took part in the admission test against 1050 seats. Only 4,582 students passed the test in this unit.
A student of Chattogram’s Govt. Commerce College named Athey Dhar bagged first position in the test gaining a total of 105.50 score.
Apart from these, in the Fine Arts unit, 4510 students took part in the admission test and 530 students passed the test of which only 130 students will be able to take admission.
Md. Badhon Talukder of Bir Shreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College secured the 1st position in this unit obtaining a total 98.16 score in the test.
DU vice chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal revealed the results on the university's official website at 3.35pm from Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom.
The concerned teachers and the coordinators of all four units were present during the unveiling of the results.
The students who passed the tests, are asked to fill up subject choices form from the admission website from April 3 to April 25.
However, the DU vice chancellor also gave indications to start the academic classes of the new batch from July 1.
