A total of 10 people were detected positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hours after testing 1,267 samples in 10 Covid-19 laboratories in Chattogram district.
During the last 24 hours till this morning, Chattogram district recorded lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.78 percent. With the newly infected cases, the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) patients currently stands at 102,521 in the district.
The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to 94,276 with the curing of 66 more people in the past 24 hours.
Dr Ilias Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said the percentage of recovery rate is 92.22.
With Tuesday’s single death, the death toll reached at 1,332 in the district.
