10 Bangladeshis on Top 100 Young Talent of Asia list

Ten Bangladeshi youths have made it to the Top 100 Young Talent of Asia list this year. 

The aim of the Asia Young Talent Awards is to identify and highlight young people aged between 18 and 30, who influence and motivate with their talent and their stories of working towards people and the entire community. 

Top 100 talented young individuals among over 900 nominees have been selected because of their contributions to the community and the impactful stories they have been a part of. 

A talent growth and engagement platform of Malaysia, Monsta Asia that designs, develops, and discovers talents in both personal and professional skills organizes the lists the remarkable individuals. AIM Initiative Foundation from Bangladesh is the organisational partner of Monsta Asia in this year's Asia Young Talent Awards. While talking to Bangladesh Post, one of the selected talents, Rafeed Elahi Chowdury said, “It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this prestigious list. 

Although compared to the other people in the list, my contribution is very minor but I pray I get to make an impact.”

Zisan Rehman Founder & President of Penny for Many told Bangladesh Post that with such recognition, the responsibility increases as well.

“We as Penny for Many started with a school but due to circumstances and opportunities, we had to become more versatile due to our drive of doing something for the community,” he said.

Penny for Many started as an educational platform for the underprivileged children. However, they have continued to aid the community during disasters and aims to aid the poor during the upcoming winter.

The 10 Bangladeshi youths named in the list are: Mohammad Shafin Arshad, member of Volunteer for Bangladesh (VBD), Zisan Rehman Founder & President, Penny for Many, Safa Jahangir, Founder of Sarin's Store, Sadi Muhammad Tamim from Pathshala, A S M Ashikur Rahman, Executive Board Member of  Youth Hub, Nuzhat Fatima Faruk, Social Media Officer, of Pensive Stories, Mehrin Laila, Senior Interviewer of Volunteer Stories, Sanjida Hoque, Documen­tation & Communications Officer of AIM Initiative Foundation, Rafeed Elahi Chowdhury, Lead, Content and Product Growth of The Business Standard and Subrina Habib, Executive Director of AIM Initiative Foundation and Project Manager of  AIM School.
